M.L.K. Freedom Rally

Jessica performed with project “I Live On” at the Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Rally at Cleveland Park. The “I Live On Project” was a group of 15 artists formed for the sole purpose of using music to create a movement that encourages unity. Jessica was also invited to the event as a special guest; she spoke to the crowd about the importance of supporting each other to build a strong community, before her solo performance. Hundreds of people gathered at the rally to commemorate the work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom.

Jessica James performed her single “Magnetic” at the annual “Voices Against Violence Concert” at McAlister Square. Other artists that performed included Lil Ru, and Big Mike from P. Diddy’s former group known as DAY 26. People from all over the state gathered to pay tribute to the the lives that were lost due to violence in the community. The event was hosted by Community Activist and Public Figure, Traci Fant; and was covered by local news and media outlets.
